Bark, the only UK guide we could read that defines the two, describes a deep clean as reaching areas that a regular clean overlooks, such as the inside of the oven and appliances, door handles, light switches and sockets. Bark's 2025 guide gives an average deep clean of £250 and says it typically takes 6 to 12 hours.
